I've worked for the St. Albans Police Department for 22 years. St. Albans, WV is located in Kanawha County
and has a population of about 11,000 people.
I've been fortunate to have received some great training over the years. I have attended training courses literally
all over the country. I have met and trained with police officers from all over the world as well. What that has
taught me, is that those that wear the badge, are not all that different no matter where we work.

Employment History
I was employed at St. Albans Police Department since 1988. I was promoted to Sergeant in 1993, in 2006 to Lieutenant.
In May of 2010 I received a promotion to Captain, the highest Civil Service Rank in the Department. I retired on June
29, 2016.
My past duties were Shift Commander, SWAT Commander, Detective Bureau, Fellowship Officer at the WV State Police Academy,
& DARE Officer.
My duties at retirement were Executive Officer, Training Director, and Public Information Officer.
